Wolfgang Schaefer -  (President)
Mr. Schaefer was Vice President (VP) for Finance and Administration at the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC), a Washington-based multilateral merchant bank; Senior VP for International Investment Banking at Shearson Lehman in New York; Senior Financial Analyst at the World Bank; and Project Manager at Berlin Consult, a German general contractor. Mr. Schaefer received his Masters Degree in Business Administration, Engineering and Economics  from the Technical University of Berlin. 

Richard I. Burnham has extensive experience in syndicated credit facilities, export credit guarantee facilities and bond issues in international project finance.He was Manager-Syndications at the International Financial Corporation, responsible for structuring and arranging financing for private sector enterprises and greenfield projects in developing countries.Mr. Burnham also worked in the corporate department of Morgan Stanley & Co. in New York and was a foreign service officer with the U.S. Department of State. Mr. Burnham is a graduate ofHarvard Law School.

Janusz Krasowski is currently concentrating on Internet companies. He has over 20 years of experience in private project financing, investment banking, private equity and venture capital funds, financial sector and capital markets transactions, with primary focus in Latin America and the Caribbean. He was Division Manager at the Inter-American Investment Corporation, and Senior Investment Officer at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Washington DC.Mr. Krasowski earned his MBA from Fundaçáo Getulio Vargas in Sâo Paulo, Brazil.

Arthur Dennis Long, ScD, PE, DEE specializes in environmental technologies. He was Division Chief at USAID for the Former Soviet Union/New Independent States (NIS) Task Force and was Acting USAID Representative for Croatia and Slovenia. Mr. Long holds a doctorate degree in Tropical Public Health from Harvard University and an M.S. in Ocean Engineering from MIT.

Dr. Turgay Ozkan advises US corporations operating in Turkey and other Eastern European countries, and Turkish firms seeking business opportunities with US counterparts. He was Economic Advisor to Turkish Prime Minister Turgut Ozal and was the President of the Export Credit Bank of Turkey (TURKEXIM). Dr. Ozkan worked for the World Bank, and as Senior Banker for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Dr. Ozkan received his Ph.D. in Economics and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from MIT. He was a Researcher and a Teacher at the Department of Economics of the Sloan School of Management, MIT.

John G. Rehak specializes in international trade and investments, particularly in telecommunications: U.S. West and Alpha Lyracom / Pan American Satellite for Telecommunications. He was Vice President, Washington Operations, Siemens Corp.; Vice President, Marketing, F.I.P. Corp.; Vice President, Business Development, Siemens Corp.

Murod Sattarov is the former assistant manager of KPMG Tashkent. Mr. Sattarov has extensive experience of managing financial advisory, restructuring and and institutional strengthening, institutional strengthening projects in Uzbekistan. He has a thorough understanding of the Uzbek economy and general institutional settings of the country. Prior to his work at KPMG, he served as an Economist at the World Bank Resident Mission in Uzbekistan. Mr. Sattarov received his MBA in Finance from the American University, Washington, DC, USA, and he is a Senior Lecturer at the Tashkent State Economics University in Uzbekistan.

Jean-Pierre Schwartz specializes in promoting, structuring and financing investment projects in developing countries (Latin America, Eastern Europe and Russia, North Africa) for private sector clients. Mr. Schwartz was Manager of the Mexico-Caribbean Division at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Washington DC, and Senior Consultant at P.A. Management Consultants in Paris, France. Mr. Schwartz received his M.S. in Civil Engineering and Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.


Dr. Alexander von Klaudy is an expert in Mergers & Acquisitions, Management of Industrial Portfolios, and Management Consulting. He was Head of Acquisitions at the Deutsche Industrie-Holding GmbH & Co. KG, Deutsche Bank Group, Frankfurt, working extensively on projects in Eastern Germany. He was also the Director at the DB Consult/DB Mergers & Acquisitions/DB Morgan Grenfell in Frankfurt, responsible for Germany, United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, and the United States. He was Project Manager and Partner at Fraser Consulting in Essen. He has a doctorate degree (Dr. rer. nat.) in chemistry from the University of Heidelberg. 


Enrique Wetzler
concentrates on establishment and implementation of business strategies and financing schemes, especially in equity investments, corporate restructuring and privatization projects. He is Advisor to the Board of Potasio Rio Colorado (PRC), Argentina, for a Potash Mining Project. He was Assistant Vice President of operations at the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC) and worked at the International Finance Corporation, (IFC) in Washington DC, Chase Manhattan Bank, Citibank, Union Bank of Switzerland, Siderar S.A. and Cinplast S.A. Mr. Wetzler earned his Licenciado (graduate degree) in Finance and Business Administration at Universidad Argentina de la Empresa and Universidad Católica in Buenos Aires.
